The first weekend of December is upon us and it’s a chilly one. I often say that winter starts on the Solstice but this year is so cold, and already so snowy, that I’m just going to say it starts on December 1st instead. Since I’m in charge of the seasons—officially, it’s true!—this is now winter. Winter is no longer coming, it is here. I have spoken.
The chilly weather means it’s a great weekend to stay inside and watch lots of movies. I have some suggestions for you in my latest streaming guide.

Wordle Bot Analysis
After each Wordle I solve I head over to the Wordle Bot homepage to see how my guessing game was.
That’s actually kind of a tough word! I started with roman because apparently men think about ancient Rome multiple times a day or something. I admit, that’s probably true of me, but only because I’m always thinking about time and the calendar and the days of the week and the months and the seasons, and so much of that goes back to Rome.
Roman left me with two yellow boxes and, I discovered later, just 39 words remaining. Brine gave me a green ‘E’ but left both my ‘R’ and my ‘N’ in yellow. RN made me think of my next word: nurse. I was sure it would be the right one, too, because it just seemed destined to be.
Alas, while it got me to my answer, it was not the Wordle. Genre was.

Stupid Wordle Bot must be cheating. I have no idea how he went from slate to groin and then directly to genre but here we are. I get zero points for guessing in four and -1 for losing to the stupid, cheating Wordle Bot. Lame!

- -2 points for getting it in 6 guesses.
- -3 points for losing.
- -1 point for losing to me
You can either keep a running tally of your score if that’s your jam or just play day-to-day if you prefer.
